E-Learning- Potential for Change

We have in e-learning the potential to revolutionise schools and the organisation of learning, shifting the balance from teacher to learner - empowering the learner and also releasing the teacher from an increasingly unrealistic burden.

The only way to bring about this real change is to get teachers excited about the use of ICT as a tool for teaching and learning, encourage them to share their resources and experiences.

Opening up the doors and give practical training to teachers. Teachers training teachers ! There exists within our Catholic system many wonderful, innovative and capable teachers, unfortunately so few of them are prepared to share their resources or take onboard new ideas. You have to convince them of the value of ICT to help their students and make their lives easier.
